Veritas Speaker Series: Cande de Leon
On May 18th we welcomed Cande de Leon for our final Veritas Speaker Series on campus. Cande de Leon currently serves as the first Chief Advancement Officer for the National Eucharistic Congress and is a published author, speaker, and former leader in multiple Dioceses to help advance the mission of the Church.
In his presentation to students, parents, faculty, and benefactors, Cande shared about his work with the Congress, but more importantly, the graces God continues to pour out on him. When asked what people should remember about his talk, Cande shared the following:
You are a child of God, your life has meaning, your life has purpose and people are counting on you! What you do matters, it matters to the person next to you, the person you never met and the person you may meet one day- God has a mission for you and only you can fulfill it.
