THE NEW EDUCATIONAL FREEDOM TAX CREDIT: A Credit, Not a Deduction

Dear friends of JPG,

We are excited to announce an incredible new opportunity coming in 2027: the Educational Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC). You may have already heard about this program, but there are still a number of questions and misconceptions on how this all works and the impact it can have on our school.

I'm asking you to take just two minutes to watch a brief explanation video below.

Here's what makes the EFTC so exciting. Instead of sending your tax dollars to Washington, D.C., you have an opportunity to put those dollars to work right here in our own JPG community, helping families afford tuition and other qualifying educational expenses. Same tax dollars, but now you have a say in where they go!

For JPG, this could be a game changer! More than 85% of our students would qualify for these scholarships. Just imagine what that could mean for our families. Less stress over tuition, greater access to Catholic education, and more opportunities for JPG to continue forming young people who are ready to lead, serve, and live their faith.

That's why we've launched Project 1,000! Our goal is simple: find 1,000 people who want to make a difference by choosing JPG as the school they support through their 2027 Educational Freedom Tax Credit.

And here's the best part. There's nothing to contribute right now! We're simply asking you to learn a little more about this incredible opportunity and, if it feels right for you, join Project 1,000 by making a nonbinding commitment to support JPG in 2027. Together, we have an opportunity to make an impact on Catholic education like never before. Can we count on you?

Thank you, as always, for believing in the mission of St. John Paul the Great.

God Bless,

Jeffery C. Kummer
