JPG Becomes the First Newman Guide Recommended Independent Catholic High School in Colorado!

St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Denver is thrilled to announce that it has been recommended in The Newman Guide because JPG faithfully follows the Church's teaching, defends the dignity of man, and educates students through a Christ-centered worldview.

In an age of institutions falling to secularization, JPG has been set apart for upholding the truths of the Holy Catholic Church. Christ is not to be compromised, and gaining the status of being a Newman Guide school is indicative of this impenetrable reality.

St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School is the first school in the state of Colorado to be listed in this prestigious ranking. As a Newman Guide–recommended school, JPG stands as a model for other schools nationwide and has achieved the gold standard in Catholic education.

St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School aims to combat the shifting sands of our chaotic world by grounding students in faith and reason. Along with academic excellence, St. John Paul the Great students embody the vision of their patron, St. John Paul II, as they are formed in discipleship, virtue, friendship, admiration for creation and its Creator, and, above all, reverence for the sacraments.

As the first school in Colorado to be recognized as a Newman Guide–recommended high school, JPG is committed to continuing its mission of forming joyful disciples, strong leaders, and saints. JPG is answering St. John Paul II’s call for a new evangelization.
