JPG Becomes the First Newman Guide Recommended Independent Catholic High School in Colorado!

St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School is the First in Colorado to Reach Gold Standard Nationwide in Education St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Denver is thrilled to announce that it is now recommended in The Newman Guide, which is published by The Cardinal Newman Society, a national organization that promotes and defends faithful Catholic education.

St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School is the first within the state of Colorado to be listed in the prestigious ranking. As a Newman Guide recommended school, JPG stands as a model for other schools nationwide and has reached the gold standard in Catholic education.

While many schools and colleges are assailed by secularization, ideological pressure,  and the loss of Catholic identity, The Newman Guide recommends faithful options for Catholic families. The Newman Guide is named in honor of St. John Henry Newman, who was recently declared a Doctor of the Church and co-Patron of Catholic education alongside St. Thomas Aquinas. The institutions recommended in The Newman Guide fulfill St. John Henry Newman’s vision for education as the formation of the intellect, conscience, character, and faith, not merely the transmission of information.
